Sue Hamilton climbing the ladder to the lifeguard

Sue Hamilton ladder Sue Hamilton: born Sue Williams circa 1941, graduated from Glendale High School (California) in 1959, Playboy’s Playmate of the Month April 1965 as Sue Williams, appeared in a speaking role (“Peanuts”) in How to Stuff a Wild Bikini (1965) with Annette Funicello, changed her name to Sue Hamilton for four more AIP movies, then vanished from the scene after the final publicity for Fireball 500 (1966). Although rumoured to have committed suicide, she was NOT Karen Sue (Levitt) Hamilton (1945 – 1969) who killed herself with a shotgun in Los Angeles in 1969. Sue Hamilton at Beach Party Movies

    1. I’ve edited the post to correct the mistakes that are all over the internet, including Wikipedia and IMDB. Sue Williams / Hamilton, Playboy Playmate and AIP actress, was NOT Karen Sue (Levitt) Hamilton who killed herself with a shotgun 2 September 1969.

I don’t know why Karen Sue Hamilton killed herself or used a gun. She had been married once – when she was only 18 – in Tucson AZ to an architecture student named Kenneth Mayer. The marriage didn’t last long and the fact that she became Karen Sue HAMILTON suggests she married again, though she appeared to be living alone when she died.
