Virna Lisi: Italian actress and beauty born 1936, briefly in Hollywood in the mid-sixties for How to Murder Your Wife (1965) with Jack Lemmon and Not with My Wife, You Don’t! (1966) with Tony Curtis, reportedly turned down the title role in Barbarella (1968), career revived as Catherine de Medici in La Reine Margot (aka Queen Margot 1994).

  1. She might have been TOO stunning! She had a jealous husband who insisted on being on set whenever she had a scene with her leading men!
