Actresses of the 50s and 60s

Ann-Margret in ‘Made In Paris’ 1966

In 1941, American on July 22, 2017 at 12:48 am

THE special hair styles in “Made in Paris” are by Sidney Guilaroff, and to judge by the content of this pitcure, I would guess the script is, too… Ann-Margret is the young woman who wears the clothes and the hairdos this time. Louis Jourdan is the designer. Chad Everett is the son of the boss. Not one of them gives a performance that is any more real or plausible (or, for that matter, half as amazing) as the hair styles of Mr. Guilaroff. If the picture were just a little better, I’d guess that he had directed it, too. Bosley Crowther, NY Times.
