Gia Scala, Anne Francis, Eva Gabor

DON’T GO NEAR THE WATER (1957): Gia Scala (UK 1934 – 1972 suicide), Anne Francis (USA 1930 – 2011), Eva Gabor (Hungarian 1919 – 1995). A tall, pretty girl named Gia Scala appears conspicuously as the chicly turned out teacher-daughter of an elegant South Pacific planter. Her properly chaperoned romance with Glen Ford is just another little thing that sits artificially and limply in this wholly artificial comedy. NY Times.
