Jan Moriarty (above left): American actress and model, born Joanne Moriarty, 5 May 1939, Maywood Illinois; died: 2 March 1964, age 24, Los Angeles California; overdose of sleeping pills.
Moriarty had TV and film credits 1961 – 1964, including a small part as “the umbrella model” in A New Kind of Love (1963) starring Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. She married actor Harry S. (aka Michael) Parks on 11 January 1964; Parks discovered her body on the night she died.
