Myrna Ross: American actress born 1939 New York; died 26 December 1975, age 36, Granby Colorado; airplane crash.
Dancer, model and Miss New York 1957, 6′ tall Ross was a showgirl in Vegas and a cast member of theatre comedy Pajama Tops before being signed by American International Pictures to be ‘Goliath’s Mate’ in a national tour promoting the Steve Reeves epic Goliath and the Barbarians (1959). She appeared in movies and TV until 1969, retiring to have two children with fashion designer husband Stuart C. Nelson.
Ross, her mother, her husband, their two daughters and four others died when their small plane crashed into a mountainside during a snowstorm. By the way, IMDB and Wikipedia both mistakenly identify her as Myrna Louise Ross of Akron Ohio; however that particular Myrna Ross is still alive.
