Michèle Girardon (1938 – 1975)

Michèle Girardon: French actress born Henriette Michèle Leone Girardon 9 August 1938, Lyon France; died 25 March 1975, age 36, Lyon France; overdose of sleeping pills.

French beauty and actress, Giradon’s most well-known Hollywood film was the African adventure Hatari! (1962) with John Wayne.

For most of the 1960s she lived with the notorious spanish nobleman and fortune-hunter José Luis de Vilallonga. After their break-up, she stopped acting and returned home to live with her parents, committing suicide three years later.
