Fonda lends credence to character, voicing the creed of the Angels in ‘wanting to do what we want to do’ without interference, and is well-cast in part. Variety.

Sonja Ziemann (born 1926): German actress on screen 1942 – 1997. Her roles in film operettas and sentimental films such as “Schwarzwaldmädel” (“The Black Forest Girl” 1950) and “Grün ist die Heide” (“The Heath is Green” 1951) made her one of the first stars of Germany’s post war cinema. Later film roles include “The Bridge at Remagen” (1969) and “De Sade” (1969). Hrer second husband committed suicide, her next companion died in a plane crash and her only child died of cancer at age 16.
