“A lot has been made over the gigantic dimensions of my breasts,” she says. “It’s total myth. I’m really a rather normal-sized lady of good proportions and a nice figure. I have a tiny waist and I go in and out and I’m not that voluptuous, as you can see.” Rolling Stone 1973.

Fathom (1967) with Raquel Welch. Nobody expects “Fathom” to be a masterpiece. But that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be made. Why not have a skydiving movie, with lots of great footage of skydivers floating through the air, and lots of great footage of Raquel Welch? It could be fun. You can only be ponderous so long, and then you need to look at someone like Raquel Welch for awhile. It’s good for you. But when Raquel Welch speaks, she sounds like every drive-in waitress and every beauty queen and every female high school class president and every not-very-bright good sport you ever heard. Roger Ebert.
