Peggy Lipton, former Mod Squad actress, discusses her life in 2005: COURIC: So, Peggy, you–you experienced so much in your life. Why did you want to share it with the world? Ms. LIPTON: Well, I’ve al–I always was and I still am, in a weird way, private, but they were–I realized I had led an interesting life, and they were interesting stories. And so I try–as I wrote it, I tried to be as objective as I could, I mean it’s hard when you’re writing. But–and it’s not so much I wanted to share it with the world, I kind of needed to purge it, in a way, for myself, and look it as being, you know, what it was. Each–each–each event that happened in my life, and certainly the things I write about in the book, led to my growing up and led to my being who I am today.
